It's really not easy to tell from the photos, which aren't that good. They miss a lot of contrast and detail... just learning how to use this camera. The pre-frame shot looked better than in life, and the frame was a necessary part of the construction (the metal door was not stable... it bent, and there was no way to either hang or prop it up.
In any case, I just go by my gut feeling. Whatever gives me pleasure.
I really preferred this pre top frame.
